A New Voice Leading the Conversation: Dr. Jennifer Stewart Joins Voices of Vision

We’re excited to welcome Jennifer Stewart, OD, as the new interviewer and host of Advancing Eyecare’s Voices of Vision series. 

After recently sharing her own story with Voices of Vision, Dr. Stewart will now step to the other side of the conversation, sitting down with fellow eye care professionals to explore the topics, challenges, opportunities, and ideas influencing practices and the industry today. 

The most valuable industry conversations often happen between peers, professionals who understand firsthand what it means to care for patients, manage a practice, evaluate new technology, lead a team, and adapt to an evolving eye care landscape. 

That perspective is at the heart of this next chapter of Voices of Vision. 

As an optometrist, practice leader, entrepreneur, consultant, speaker, and longtime contributor to the eye care community, Dr. Stewart brings both clinical experience and a broad understanding of the business of eye care to every conversation. 

As interviewer, she’ll help move beyond the traditional Q&A to uncover the experiences and insights that matter to eye care professionals today, from practice growth and patient experience to technology, leadership, innovation, and the changing expectations of both patients and providers. 

With Dr. Stewart leading the discussion, Voices of Vision will continue to spotlight professionals from across eye care while creating space for candid, practical conversations about what they’re seeing and experiencing in their own practices. 

Each interview will offer a different perspective, but the goal remains the same: to learn from one another. 

What’s working? What’s changing? What challenges are practices navigating? Where are new opportunities emerging? And what can other eye care professionals take from those experiences and apply within their own practices? 

By putting those questions in the hands of a fellow practitioner, Voices of Vision will remain grounded in the real-world conversations happening throughout the industry. 

Dr. Stewart is an optometrist, internationally recognized speaker, writer, consultant, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and Chief Vision Officer of Look New Canaan, a boutique private practice in New Canaan, CT. She also helps optometrists and organizations with operations, sales success, practice management and sales team training through her advisory and consulting firm, OD Perspectives. She is a consultant/KOL for Coopervision, Zeiss, Advancing Eye Care and MacuHealth.

With a deep interest in sports vision, Dr. Stewart is the Co-Founder and Chief Vision Officer for Performance 20/20, which provides services for sports and performance vision training, as well as consulting.

Her ability to connect with fellow professionals and her genuine curiosity about how others are approaching the opportunities and challenges within eye care makes her a natural fit to lead Voices of Vision.
